Jays avoid arbitration with Litsch and McGowan

The Blue Jays have avoided arbitration with Jesse Litsch (one-year, $975K) and Dustin McGowan (one-year, $600K) according to a team press release.

McGowan returned to the Blue Jays rotation in September after missing 3 years with various injuries, the worst being season ending shoulder surgery in 2008.

Litsch had an up and down 2011, posting a 4.44 ERA with a 6-3 record.

I like them both, especially for that price.
Hopefully Litsch can provide some quality leadership (and innings) out of the pen.
McGowan might surprise, possibility of coming back strong.
    Probably has the bigger up-side.
