Blue Jays and Astros make 10-player trade

The Toronto Blue Jays have announced a 10-player trade with the Houston Astros.

Coming to Toronto are left-handed starter J.A. Happ, right-handed reliever Brandon Lyon and righ-handed reliever David Carpenter.

Heading to Houston are outfieler Ben Francisco, right-handed reliever Francisco Cordero, monor-league right-handed starter Asher Wojciechowsk, minor league left-handed starter Joe Musgrave, left-hander David Rollins, minor league catcher Carlos Perez and a player to be named later.

The Blue Jays have also recalled outfielder Travis Snider from the triple-A Las Vegas 51s. According to a team press release, Snider will report to the team in Boston in time for tonight’s game against the Red Sox.
